"The cure for boredom is curiosity. There is no cure for curiosity"
Growing up in the foothills, I was profoundly impacted by the looming presence of the Canadian Rockies. The seemingly endless expanse of wilderness helped me cultivate a deep appreciation for the natural world as well as a passion for outdoor pursuits, but I am also grateful for where I was raised and I retain a valuable connection to my urban upbringing.

Life eventually guided me to pursue a degree in Ecotourism and Outdoor Leadership from Mount Royal University. It was during this time that I began to develop my skills as a photographer using visual mediums in class projects, practicum placements as well as on personal endeavours whether they be traveling abroad or exploring the backcountry. I also have experience working internationally in tourism for the Community Based Tourism Association of Kyrgyzstan, Niseko Photography & Guiding in Japan, as well as Planvision Consulting Ltd in Alberta, and the Misty Isles Economic Development Society, a non-profit agency managing the destination marketing organization for Haida Gwaii.

Shaped by the cultural mosaic of city life, and compelled by curiosity, I am driven to explore everything the world offers and to share those experiences through photography and story telling.
